Edit and quality-assure IEEFA content, including reports, briefing notes, commentaries, fact sheets, newsletters, and other materials, ensuring accuracy, fact-checking, formatting, and adherence to branding and editorial standards
Write high-quality, engaging press releases and platform-specific content for IEEFA’s website and digital media channels
Collaborate closely with analysts to ensure content is clear, consistent, and aligned with IEEFA’s publication style, editorial policies, and impact objectives, including providing writing and sub-editing support as needed
Work with graphic designers to translate data and research into clear, visually compelling charts and graphics
Support the communications team across content production, events, webinars, and website publishing
Work closely with the communications and leadership teams to support impact strategies and monitor the performance of IEEFA’s output

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience
Three or more years of experience in current affairs or business/economic journalism, publishing, or editing
Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and proofread complex or technical subject matter
Advanced proficiency with digital publishing tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively across competing demands
Experience communicating effectively with remote team members using a range of platforms (e.g., video conferencing, Signal, Google Workspace, ClickUp)
