Role Overview
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely deployment
- Manage risks to release scope, schedule, and quality
- Create and manage a release calendar (major, minor, and emergency fixes)
- Work with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, IT) to ensure alignment
- Oversee the actual deployment of software updates, often managing non-production environments like sandboxes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, DevSecOps, IT operations, or release/deployment management
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or project management role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related technical field
- Proficiency in SDLC, Agile/DevSecOps methodologies, and automation tools
- US Citizenship
- Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
