Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

• Maintain and modify programs
• Design, build and implement new Web pages and sites
• Collaborate closely with architects to design software solutions
• Mentor and train new and less experienced developers
• Code, test, and troubleshoot programs
• Analyze functional requirements
• Determine level of effort for new development
• Test and develop programming modifications
• Analyze performance of programs
• Understand expectations that were set with client

Requirements

• 6 or more years experience with Microsoft web technologies
• Proficient using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, and the .NET Framework
• 6 or more years experience using MS SQL Server
• Proficient writing and optimizing SQL code
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
• Master's degree in computer science or related field can substitute for 3 years' experience
• Ability to build Software as a Service (SaaS) applications
• Proficient in additional technologies and languages such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, and XML
• Proficient in the use of version control
