Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated AI workflows and agentic systems that automate complex business processes
Architect scalable AI solutions that integrate with Pattern's existing technology stack and business operations
Mentor junior AI engineers and provide technical leadership across AI initiatives
Collaborate with product and business teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI implementation
Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate AI approaches before full implementation
Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns for AI development
Contribute to the company's AI strategy and roadmap in partnership with leadership

8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML systems
Strong Python programming skills with experience in modern AI frameworks and libraries
Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG systems, fine-tuning, and agentic AI architectures
Experience building production AI systems that solve real business problems at scale
Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and containerization technologies
Strong system design skills with experience building distributed and fault-tolerant applications
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.
