Assistant Project Manager

Role Overview

• Assisting in the design and project management of HVAC systems
• Planning, organizing, and executing facility projects
• Maintaining interaction with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Coordinating with sales to provide data for project scope
• Developing scope of work and project specifications
• Working with engineering for equipment specifications and materials procurement
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders for subcontractors
• Approving invoices
• Providing complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage
• Reviewing and maintaining cost estimates of material, sub-contractors, and purchased equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, energy modeling and savings calculations, construction drawings, and project specifications
• Knowledge of applied HVAC equipment systems, Building Automation Systems, and associated support services
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Acceptable driving record required
