Role Overview
- Troubleshooting issues and providing solutions for maintenance
- Understanding all processes and equipment at Sweeps, Melting furnaces, Au refining, Waste water treatment and Assay methods
- Providing support in processing different types of refining material
- Managing the metal balance of refining processes
- Overseeing process improvement projects for refining and sweeps processing
- Handling customer complaints, starting investigations based on complaints, and providing feedback to customer service
- Participating in Process Risk Assessment and HAZOP
- Covering key roles in Refining departments
Requirements
- Bachelor of Chemistry or Chemical engineering
- 3-4 years in chemical manufacturing
- Strong mechanical skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Health and safety training is an asset
- Ability to work safely in a hot environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good computer skills
- Understanding of pumps
- Willingness to learn
