Role Overview
- Analyze, review, and draft construction related contracts
- Provide contract support for standard corporate agreements
- Provide legal guidance to corporate leadership on various construction, business, and industry-related matters
- Identify emerging project risks and proactively work to mitigate exposure
- Assist with the development of affirmative claims and defense of claims against the company
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school required
- Active law license required (Kentucky state bar licensure is a plus)
- Minimum of five years of experience as a licensed and practicing attorney, either at a law firm or in-house
- Construction law experience, including both contract review/negotiation and construction litigation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
