Provide timely, relevant and cost ‑ effective legal advice across disputes, litigation, regulatory matters, commercial risks and general legal exposures
Manage and support litigation, arbitration and expert determinations including assisting with strategy, negotiations and settlement discussions
Deliver legal services for regulatory investigations and inquiries, ensuring the organisation is appropriately advised and represented
Oversee design and construction defect claims on major projects, providing strategic guidance and legal oversight
Support claims ‑ prevention initiatives and maintain awareness of business activities to proactively identify legal risks
Prepare and contribute to board and stakeholder reporting and manage external legal advisors and specialist third ‑ party experts
Requirements
4+ years post ‑ qualification experience, ideally in disputes, claims management, regulatory investigations, construction or infrastructure matters, with strong technical legal capability
Demonstrated ability to anticipate legal risks, propose early solutions and interpret complex commercial concepts with an enterprise mindset
Excellent relationship ‑ building, communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels
Strong organisational and time ‑ management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in high ‑ pressure environments
