Head of Insurance Department

Role Overview

• You will join and oversee a team of 10 people within the Insurance Department
• You will lead the department and coordinate insurance managers deployed across all business units
• You will standardize internal processes and take ownership of a major initiative: the self-insurance project
• Your objective will be to improve the service's efficiency while reducing costs
• Manage various insurance contracts (including relationships with insurers) and supervise claims handling and related litigation
• Lead large-scale projects, notably the launch and implementation of the Self-Insurance project
• For public procurement, draft the technical sections of specifications related to insurance contracts, negotiate with insurers, and manage contract awards
• Actively collaborate with all company stakeholders, notably with health & safety advisors and operational management
• Implement reporting (including statistical reports) for all active insurance contracts as part of a continuous improvement effort and to centralize information

Requirements

• You hold a Master's degree in law or insurance
• You can demonstrate at least 3 years' experience in the insurance sector (working with large corporate accounts)
• You have in-depth knowledge of insurance law and the insurance market (notably liability, fire and occupational accident, all-risks construction, etc.)
• You can demonstrate proven experience in team and project coordination
• Knowledge of public procurement and risk analysis is an advantage
• You have strong synthesis, structuring and analytical skills
• You have strong negotiation skills and enjoy persuading stakeholders
• You bring purpose and energy to your team
• You have excellent communication skills and defend your ideas assertively
