Managing and maintaining infrastructure, which includes the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Common Services software at the hypervisor level and above, working with technologies such as Nutanix and Hyper-V.
Providing the necessary VMs, access rights, networks, etc to users of the system
Ensure timely provisioning of accounts to users, and the management of these accounts in compliance with defined policies and privileges appropriate to those users
Installation/Configuration/Maintenance of DevSecOps tools and services to ensure service availability
Configuration and management of virtual resources such as VLANs, AD accounts, DNS, CA servers, etc
Perform regular upgrades, updates, patching, and maintenance on the tools and services to keep them updated and free from known vulnerabilities
Support client’s enquiries and service requests for DevSecOps related services
Update relevant documentation of DevSecOps resources
Work along with the team on above support duties
Any ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
Knowledge/experience in troubleshooting, updating, patching, of systems such as Centos / Windows / RHEL / Nutanix / etc
Knowledge/experience in tasks or skills relevant to systems administration
Familiarity with development lifecycle and a good understanding of the DevOps concepts as well as typical development activities.
Familiarity with industry standards / best practices regarding cloud computing
Demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of containerisation for managing k8s/OKD/OCP clusters
Demonstrate proficiency in scripting, such as with PowerShell for Windows and/or Bash for Linux
Knowledge of configuration automation with tools such as Ansible is an advantage
Knowledge/experience with tools such as Nutanix Prism / GitLab / Parasoft / Fortify / ClearML / OpenShift / etc will be a bonus
Good communication skills to work with various stakeholders and users, and most importantly a keen willingness to learn and gain new knowledge/experience
