Identify, design, and architect technical solutions for customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Partner with the Sales team to identify opportunities and to follow from initial requirements through to successful deal closure.
Work directly with customers, vendors, service partners and internal delivery teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Respond to RFIs/RFQs with compelling solutions that highlight ST Engineering’s strengths.
Lead and support demos and proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase solution capabilities and value.
Act as a strategic advisor throughout the sales lifecycle
capturing requirements, recommending technology stacks, scoping resources, and estimating effort.
Present alternative solutions with clear cost-benefit-risk analysis to help customers make informed decisions.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of presales experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects
Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure solutions: servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and data security
Experience with the proposing solutions across multiple technologies and vendors, including Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, Nutanix, Cohesity, Veritas, Veeam, etc.
Relevant certifications in these technologies are an advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage customers and stakeholders effectively
Self-motivated, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred experience in solutioning projects for defence, government, education, and healthcare sectors
