Support public and private sector transportation infrastructure projects through the planning, design, construction and commissioning phases.
Responsible for project management, engineering, design management and coordination.
Work with multidisciplinary project teams to provide technical leadership for urban rail transit projects or specific work streams within larger urban transit projects.
Responsible for coordination of work packages, project reporting, and controls.
Prepare and present technical reports and memoranda.
Liaise with and report on key client meetings and management of other stakeholder liaisons as development of a properly integrated project.
Oversee projects and work streams effectively, ensuring that work is delivered to meet schedule, quality and budget requirements.
Develop relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to continue to promote the Company effectively and the services offered, including involvement in business development activities.
10% travel required (domestic and international) for project site visits, client meetings, and conference attendance.
Some telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office at least 20 days per month.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or a related field plus four (4) years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Project Manager, or a related occupation involving experience in urban rail transit.
Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
Two (2) years in each of the following:
Utilizing Microsoft software (Excel, Outlook, Project), VISSIM, or Open Track
Management of engineering contracts ensuring adherence to contract terms, satisfying scope, schedule and deliverable requirements
Managing planning projects for public sector transportation projects
Managing engineering design for public sector transportation projects
Managing construction for public sector rail transportation projects
Testing and commissioning for public sector rail transportation projects
Planning or executing Geotechnical Site Investigation Programs
Working with public sector procurement delivery methods and performing cost benefit analyses for transportation projects
Performing capital cost estimation and risk assessment for transportation projects.
One (1) year in each of the following:
Planning and designing for hydrogen supply and hydrogen refueling projects in the transportation industry
Hazard assessments for hydrogen and battery-operated vehicles.
Qualified candidates must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license (US) or foreign equivalent.
