Faculty Member – Teaching-Track, Engineering Product Development

Role Overview

• Teach electrical and electronic engineering design and product development
• Develop and deliver high-quality, student-centered courses
• Engage in curricular development to incorporate emerging trends in electrical engineering
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and research
• Mentor and supervise students on design projects and research
• Drive outreach and partnerships with industry and academic institutions

Requirements

• Proven record of teaching and/or research in circuit design, electronics, embedded systems, power systems, signal processing, or related topics
• Relevant industry experience will also be considered
• Ability to improve teaching and learning of design processes in electrical product development
• Willingness to tackle complex problems in electrical/electronic engineering
• Effective interaction with stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in technology-enabled learning, blended or active pedagogies, and/or involvement in engineering education research for Senior Lecturer role
• Experience in designing short, medium, and semester-long courses in electrical and electronics topics
• Advising experience for Doctoral, Master, and undergraduate students in electrical or electronics engineering
