Deliver scopes, estimates, designs, specifications and architectures across OT communications projects
Apply engineering judgement to solve complex design challenges and optimise outcomes
Provide specialist expertise across OT communications networks, Remote SCADA and associated systems, including cyber security considerations
Develop and maintain network architectures, topologies, configuration databases and design documentation
Produce installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance documentation
Support service availability, disaster recovery planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, codes and AusNet policies
Contribute to product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with vendors, digital architecture and business needs
Share insights, lessons learned and innovations to strengthen team capability and outcomes
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering
Experience in electrical engineering, project delivery and/or design, ideally within utilities or critical infrastructure
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse teams and partners
A solid understanding of the regulatory environment in which AusNet operates
A disciplined approach to documentation, knowledge management and engineering standards
Additional requirements: Victorian Driver’s Licence, ability to travel to other AusNet sites as required, Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) background check
