Role Overview
- Designing and installing structural components such as platforms, supports, and anchor points
- Leading major steelwork repairs and plant refurbishments
- Managing consultants for larger structural projects and coordinating contractors
- Developing business cases, scopes of work, and improvement initiatives
- Preparing conceptual designs, feasibility studies, and cost estimates
- Conducting design reviews to ensure compliance with site and statutory requirements
- Driving risk assessments, audits, and change management processes
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team culture
Requirements
- A degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing structural projects from design through to execution
- Strong planning, cost control, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam and AutoCAD is a plus
- Eligibility for National Engineering Registration or Chartered status (preferred)
