- turn near-term plans into safe, reliable production at Ernest Henry
- own the weekly plan and rolling 3-month plan
- keep designs practical through regular underground checks
- work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators and leaders to remove roadblocks fast
- apply health, safety and security standards in every task and decision
- complete regular underground inspections to confirm status, progress and quality
- coordinate inputs and communicate the weekly and 3-month plans
- prepare drill and charge designs to meet targets
- direct drill/charge/fire locations to maintain broken stock
- run short-term projects and investigations to lift performance
- update progress and reporting so decisions stay data-driven
Requirements
- tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering (or related discipline)
- experience in underground mine engineering and operational environments
- solid engineering fundamentals
- comfortable working in modern mine design tools (ideally Deswik)
- communicate confidently across verbal, written and graphical formats
- build strong working relationships with crews, peers and leaders
- self-directed approach and focus on delivering practical outcomes
- strong commitment to health, safety and security standards
