Lead capital and sustaining projects that directly improve safety, reliability and plant performance
Own projects from initial design through to execution, ensuring safe, compliant, on schedule and within budget delivery
Deliver new site infrastructure and plant upgrades (e.g., pump stations)
Lead steelwork repairs, equipment refurbishments and improvement projects
Manage consultants, contractors and detailed design activities
Prepare conceptual designs, feasibility studies, business cases and estimates
Develop scopes of work, project schedules and support shutdown planning
Conduct risk assessments, audits and drive regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawings
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance team

A Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
Experience delivering projects in mining, heavy industry, or a similar environment (5+ years ideal)
Demonstrated capability managing projects from design through to execution
Strong planning, scheduling, cost control and contractor management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS Office; AutoCAD and Bluebeam desirable
Working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering documentation practices
Eligibility or interest in National Engineering Registration/Chartered status (preferred)
