Develop deep expertise in the firm's portfolio and strategy, representing both Funds and Co-Investments to internal stakeholders and external clients.
Partner with global Business Development and Client Solutions teams across the Americas to accelerate Private Equity growth initiatives, incl. development of innovative client investment solutions.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with institutional investors, consultants, and other market participants while strengthening internal partnerships with investment teams globally to enhance client solutions and service delivery.
Lead initiatives to differentiate Partners Group in the Americas market by organizing firm-sponsored events and representing the firm as a speaker at (industry) conferences and forums.
Work closely with Marketing, Client Solutions, Investment, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Portfolio Management teams to ensure seamless execution of Private Equity investment materials, updates, and critical workflows.
Track asset class performance metrics and deliver regular updates and comprehensive reports to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments impacting Private Equity, proactively sharing insights and implications with the broader team to inform strategy.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within the asset class and global platform, driving continuous enhancement of team effectiveness.
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes high performance and professional growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in private markets investments (e.g. private equity, private debt, infrastructure)
Proven track record of managing and growing portfolios within the specified asset class
Strong understanding of investment processes, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management
Excellent analytical, critical thinking (EQ/IQ), and decision-making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas to senior management and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external market participants
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
