About this role
Role Overview
Take on end-to-end responsibility as Security Manager for our global supply chain, protecting sites, flows and assets across all regions
Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework for supply chain security in alignment with international standards (e.g. TAPA, ISO28000, C-TPAT) and regulatory requirements
Develop and enhance supply chain security programs including risk assessments, mitigation strategies and driving loss prevention across global distribution pathways
Conduct and direct investigations into security breaches such as product theft, fraud, diversion & counterfeiting and implement corrective actions
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders e.g., Supply Chain, Quality, Legal & Commercial to ensure security measures are integrated across operations
Plan and execute audits to verify compliance with security standards
Conduct security assessments for third parties, enforce compliance through contract reviews and audits, and work with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to ensure secure handling, storage, and transportation of goods
Design and deliver security training programs to foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance across the supply chain
Represent GS&P as a trusted subject matter expert on supply chain security
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in security management, loss prevention, or related fields
Educational background in supply chain, logistics, risk management, or equivalent qualifications
Proven ability to independently analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
Familiarity with security standards such as TAPA, CTPAT, Known Consignor, or a willingness to acquire such knowledge
Flexibility and organizational skills to effectively manage shifting priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, as required
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential, German is considered a plus
Positive reliability check in accordance with german aviation security regulations or willingness to undergo the process
