About this role
Role Overview
Effectively represent Musco and understand its products and services
Research each market and identify strategies for building/sustaining/growing the business
Participate in hiring, training, motivating, and advising a sales team of field sales representatives
Achieve company objectives through effective planning and analyzing sales performance data
Work in a team environment to analyze projects with reps from a sales, business, and engineering perspective
Manage new product releases into the marketplace
Oversee negotiations on sales price with reps and agreements
Conduct field rides throughout the year with each field sales representative
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education courses
Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Manager about needs/concerns
Participate in corporate meetings/conference calls as necessary
Seek out, review, and analyze all regional sponsorship and partnerships
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5-10 years of field sales experience
previous management and/or leadership experience preferred
passion for coaching and mentoring others
ability to analyze sales data
monitoring sales plans and metrics
ability to strategically create and execute a sales plan
strong presentation skills
dedication to providing top-notch customer service
proven verbal and written communication skills
innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus
willingness to work onsite from Corporate Headquarters
