About this role
Role Overview
Spend approximately 60% of time in the field developing new business and managing existing accounts
Sell commercial engineered HVAC and hydronic equipment to contractors, engineers, building owners, and facilities teams
Build and maintain strong, consultative customer relationships
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations for commercial construction projects
Review and interpret construction drawings and bid documents
Provide technical and application support throughout the project lifecycle
Track opportunities, projects, and follow-ups using CRM tools (Salesforce / FinancialForce)
Monitor competitor activity and identify market growth opportunities
Requirements
Typically 8-15+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or hydronic equipment sales, applications, distribution, manufacturing, or fabrication
Proven success negotiating and closing commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of hydronic systems and HVAC equipment
Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and professionally
Strong time management, organization, and territory planning skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
Experience covering large or remote geographic territories (preferred)
Familiarity with Alaska construction, energy, industrial, or military markets (preferred)
Experience with FinancialForce or similar ERP systems (preferred)
College education or continued education in sales, engineering, or business (preferred)
