Role Overview
- Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties for the purpose of resolving claims and legal matters
- Conduct contract disputes, installation deficiencies, and material deficiencies evaluations
- Perform site evaluations, settlement investigations, structural assessments, and vibration analyses
- Gather photographic evidence and conduct investigations to document on-site conditions
- Prepare oral and written reports to document causes of failure, extent of loss, and associated repair scope
- Provide opinions and expert testimony in litigation matters
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
- 5-7 years minimum experience
- PE License, required
- NCEES record, preferred
- Experience handling litigation/investigation, required
- Knowledge of fundamental architectural and/or engineering principles, construction and building component assemblies
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to clients and other involved parties
