About this role
Role Overview
Business development
Identify and prospect new clients (mainly SMEs and mid-market companies)
Generate qualified meetings with decision-makers (CIOs, IT managers, executive management)
Build a local and sector-specific professional network
Actively contribute to opening new accounts
Qualify client needs
Understand the IT environment and prospects’ challenges
Identify issues related to: managed services, IT maintenance, cybersecurity, infrastructure management
Organize and co-lead meetings with technical experts
Manage the sales cycle
Track and follow up on sales opportunities
Perform follow-ups and maintain an active relationship with prospects
Update and track actions in the CRM
Participate in the sales process through to contract signing
Gradually develop expertise on Metaline’s offerings: Digital Workplace, managed services, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity
Ultimately be able to lead more complex sales cycles
Requirements
2 years of experience in B2B business development
Experience in the IT / technology services / telecom / SaaS / B2B services sectors is a plus
Strong command of sales fundamentals: prospecting and opening accounts, lead qualification and appointment setting, portfolio development
Key qualities: hunter mindset, persistence, autonomy, and excellent interpersonal skills
Interest in tech / IT environments
