About this role
Role Overview
Lead testing efforts on complex software projects, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies
Mentor junior engineers, perform advanced testing (manual and automated), and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Identify risks and propose improvements in TE processes
Create and execute test plans and strategies
Document test cases and bug reports with detailed analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Implement and drive Continuous Improvement Practices
Actively research and evaluate new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level test engineers
Monitor and analyze testing metrics to assess effectiveness and quality
Create and implement test strategies, policies, and standards
Requirements
Minimum: 5+ yrs industry experience, independently working on S/M projects, mentoring Jr testing engineers
Minimum: Experienced with the following: Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to analyze complex product requirements and works independently to define the testing approach
Automation Scripting: Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar
Strong experience with API testing, including using tools like Postman or SoapUI for validating functionality and performance
Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, executing task-specific collaboration
Experienced with leading adaptation to changing requirements, code designs and implementation changes
Ability to manage large, complex testing projects with multiple dependencies
Strong understanding of domain-specific knowledge and business requirements
Able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of a wide range of testing types, including complex test scenarios
