Structural Duct Designer III

Role Overview

• Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentation
• Determines completeness of project related information and request information when necessary
• Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedule
• Prepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication
• Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practices
• Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer and fabricators

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer Aided Design or related degree
• Five (5) years minimum of related engineering experience
• Required experience designing industrial casing plate ductwork and structural members
• Required experience with 3D modeling
• Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes, required
