Scope of work documents, technical reviews, analysis and design and input for Proposal/Geotechnical Investigation, Engineering, Bid and Construction phases
Assist project and engineering teams in developing and implementing site-specific civil-structural design methodology
Identify opportunities for alignment and addressing inconsistencies or omissions
Ensure excellence in EPC construction deliverables
Collaborate on the improvement of in-house designs, techniques, or enhancements
Support Engineering Delivery group on other technical requests as required, including interdisciplinary aspects (piping, E&I, etc)
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with PE or equivalent experience in civil engineering and design, including ability to get PEs by comity or reciprocity in other states required.
Minimum 7-10 years experience in an EPC setting
Travel on an average 25% to project locations and engineering offices as required
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
Current TX Professional Engineering License
Hydrological Design of Stormwater and Effluent Systems for Industrial Plant including hydraulic structures and conveyances
Ability to understand, interpret and implement local regulations pertaining to temporary and permanent detention, retention, sediment basins
Capability with Civil-3D, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, Atlas 13 & 14 (Texas) etc.
Design of Concrete Structures & Piles as required
Design of Steel Structures and Anchorage as required
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SmartPlant Review and Navisworks.
Capability with Structural Design Programs Such as STAAD, Mat3D
Ability to use standard and national building codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC etc) for design, population of site data sheets, and more.
