About this role
Role Overview
Lead and manage a procurement team responsible for short term insurance Procurement fulfillment across the full supplier lifecycle
Ensure suppliers deliver claims fulfilment in line with SLAs, scope of work, quality standards
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage supplier corrective action plans
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers
Monitor and report on cost leakage and supplier performance
Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure high performance
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement activities meet operational requirements
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk management
Requirements
5+ years experience in procurement or supply chain management
2–3 years experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in Procurement
Experience in non-motor procurement will be advantageous.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Strong leadership and team management
Stakeholder engagement and communication
Analytical and cost management skills
Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Higher Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
