Assist with new and ongoing credit facility matters including amendments and modifications, facility increases and maturity extensions, and joinders of new borrowers
Coordinate with clients, lender’s counsel, and local counsel in various offshore jurisdictions
Draft and review closing deliverables including resolutions, UCC filings, legal opinions and other certifications
Assist with coordinating closings of financing transactions
Assist with preparing summaries of loan agreements to assist with knowledge management and market comparisons
Maintain long-standing relationships with clients and opposing counsel
Handle tasks with some degree of independence as training and experience is developed, with the scope of such tasks potentially expanding
Requirements
J.D. from ABA accredited law school
Admission to bar of local office jurisdiction
Detail oriented, efficient, and organized
Enjoys transactional work
Interested in being part of a close-knit team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands on time
