Execute contracting processes for construction services (direct supplies), focusing on infrastructure and civil scopes.
Receive and review technical drawings and documents, ensuring alignment with contracting scopes.
Lead quotation processes with suppliers, issuing technical documentation and reconciling proposals.
Perform comparative technical and commercial analysis (equalization) of received proposals.
Interact with site engineers and suppliers to validate scopes, assumptions and technical feasibility.
Support negotiations to ensure the best cost-benefit outcome for the company.
Formalize contracts via systems (SAP and/or e-procurement platform).
Work closely with operations to ensure timely response to construction site demands.
Participate in site visits to gain technical understanding and align with stakeholders.
Support process improvements and the transition to new procurement tools.
Compare budget vs. contracted amounts to enable agile decision-making by the Procurement department and the construction team, and contribute to continuous improvement of budgeting, bid preparation, purchasing and project control processes.
Analyze incurred and remaining construction costs to address relevant indicators.
Update and validate the company’s Unit Price List (LPU) monthly, consolidating information to publish the new LPU and trend construction and new project costs.
Contribute to analyses, KPI generation and database consolidation using existing systems and controls to assist the area manager in continuously improving the information and visibility provided to Operations managers.
Promote continuous improvement of existing processes and document procedures when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
Previous experience in procurement or purchasing with contracting of construction services.
Experience or exposure to construction sites (site work, internship or interface with engineering).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
