Reconcile eligibility and enroll or terminate subscribers and dependents according to group contracts and underwriting guidelines and on the individual plan.
Serve as a liaison with subscribers, groups, and agencies to answer eligibility, benefit, payment, electronic enrollment file and contract questions.
Reconcile daily receipts and research variances.
Apply receipts to outstanding invoices.
Import electronic enrollment file and distribute discrepancy report to groups within designated timelines.
Perform COBRA administration for designated groups according to federal regulations.
Perform PERSI administration for designated groups according to state regulations.
Perform project support functions for IT and Eligibility projects.
Perform testing for IT changes.
Demonstrate a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, values, code of ethics, and compliance/security standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, accounting, or a related field.
Competency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
10-key data entry
Detail-oriented with the ability to understand benefits and contract provisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills with the ability to determine priorities and critical tasks.
Ability to maintain a highly responsive relationship with Customer Service, Sales, Underwriting, and Eligibility departments and clients.
Ability to represent and promote Delta Dental of Idaho services in a positive and professional manner at all times.
