Role Overview
- Assist in implementing and delivering pricing strategies to achieve business objectives
- Learn to update pricing algorithms to support business objectives toward profitability and growth
- Participate in pricing strategy discussions and assist with implementation
- Support regulatory filing preparation, where required
- Assist in building models and applying optimization techniques to recommend premium adjustments
- Learn to track the performance of deployed strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in tracking and reporting financial performance of pricing strategies
- Learn to analyze cession results and pool performance and their impact on business objectives
- Assist in tracking profitability of the PCA Book of business
- Help review and update group discounts and understand AMG's impact on business objectives
Requirements
- University degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Knowledge of Excel
- Proficiency or interest in programming, notably with SQL and R
- Strong aptitude for teamwork
- Knowledge of predictive modeling is preferred
- Working through actuarial professional examination is preferred
