About this role
Role Overview
Develop, analyze and interpret complex accounting data.
Responsible for monthly close processes including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analyses.
Research and analyze complex business transactions to determine the appropriate accounting and procedures.
Analyze financial information, accounting processes and issues, prepare conclusions and recommendations, and implement solutions.
Represent Finance on cross-departmental projects.
Collaborates with external auditors on annual audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Work with and provide direction to various departments throughout the company on accounting related matters.
Take the lead to challenge convention and improve processes and/or gain efficiencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or (4) years' experience in accounting or related field. (Required)
Five (5) years of relevant experience. (Required)
Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). (Preferred)
Experience working with Workday or a similar application. (Preferred)
Health insurance experience. (Preferred)
Experience with Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP). (Preferred)
