Optimizing key processes and driving best practices in financial operations
Manage and delegate work to Team Leaders while managing priorities
Develop relationships and meet regularly with key stakeholders
Ensure billing accuracy and efficient collection process
Provide quality assurance and quality control of processing in all cities
Analyze and manage complex billing transactions
Review policies and procedures and recommend improvements
Collaborate with billing lawyers and assistants to ensure high-quality client service
Communicate procedure changes to relevant teams
Ensure adherence to accounting policies, tax authorities, and external regulations
Provide detailed reports as needed and support audits

Qualified accountant with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
15 years or more of experience in Finance and Accounting
Minimum of 5 years’ managerial and/or supervisory experience
Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success in managing teams
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment would be considered an asset
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and organize workload effectively to meet deadlines
Methodical approach with a strong attention to detail and quality
Bilingualism would be an asset
Occasional travel to other offices
