About this role
Role Overview
- Support the day to day plant and equipment improvement
- Focus on Engineering Projects and Capital spends
- Provide technical input on current procedures and activities
- Gather best-in-class solutions locally and globally
- Develop specific domain expertise in a technical element of the process
- Responsible for all technical aspects of the manufacturing facility
- Manage facility engineering functions and all safety practices
- Support corporate EH&S programs and policies
- Develop site engineering strategic plans including annual capital investment budgeting
- Manage capital projects including budget compliance
- Supervise, develop, and coordinate maintenance personnel training
- Provide leadership and performance management to employees
- Partner with site and corporate functions in executing process improvement and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a highly technical manufacturing operation
- Supervisory & Leadership Experience
- Hands on experience with Engineering/Maintenance Systems & Programs
- Strong project management skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of EPA, GMP, OSHA and DOT regulation
- Able to solve complex problems outside of normal processes
- Excellent management / leadership aptitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics / prints
- Development and implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
