About this role
Role Overview
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, Load Balancing, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda).
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Build, deploy, and maintain backend services using Java (Quarkus) and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components.
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and high availability across distributed systems.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with strict SLAs.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide operational support.
- Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Load Balancing).
- Solid experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Proficiency in backend development using Java (preferably Quarkus) and/or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Ability to work under SLA-driven environments.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
- Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
