Public Relations Manager – Global Regions

Role Overview

• Provide PR support to seven of Virtuoso’s key global regions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, in-market PR agencies, and Virtuoso members/advisors
• Execute Virtuoso’s market-specific press strategy
• Oversee consumer and trade media relations
• Draft releases, pitches and announcements
• Manage press inquiries and interview requests
• Facilitate arrangements for global media attending events
• Create and maintain market-specific media lists and press materials
• Support company’s public relations strategy for each region
• Manage relationships with consumer and trade media outlets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or related field, or 2-4 years of public relations, communications or marketing experience in lieu of degree
• 2 years of recent public relations work experience
• Experience writing, editing and proofing marketing and/or press materials a must
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Experience with global markets desired
• Fluency in a second language other than English a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a deadline driven environment
• Must be detail and service-oriented, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MSWord, PowerPoint, MSExcel, Adobe and Outlook all mandatory
• Experience with media database and monitoring systems required
