Role Overview
- Develop and maintain secure, containerized backend applications using Java
- Build and integrate SOAP and REST APIs
- Design and implement microservices architectures
- Deploy and manage services in Azure Container Apps
- Implement event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus
- Manage APIs and security via Azure API Management
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (OAuth, JWT)
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience in enterprise systems
- Experience in banking or financial services (preferred)
- Strong Java expertise (Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks)
- Solid understanding of microservices and containerized architectures
- Hands-on experience with: Azure Container Apps (ACA)
- Azure Service Bus (ASB)
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Strong database skills (MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
- Experience building and consuming SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience in API contract testing
- Knowledge of XML and integration standards
- Familiarity with Dapr (nice to have)
