Design, build, and maintain backend services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and clean delivery
Develop backend services within an event-driven, microservices architecture, using message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
Take ownership of well-scoped features and components, from implementation and testing through deployment and production support
Work closely with other engineers, Product, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with team goals
Actively participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to improve code quality
Mentor and support junior engineers through technical guidance and day-to-day collaboration
Participate in technical interviews, typically focused on specific technologies or problem-solving areas
Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and codebases within the team

3+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience
Practical experience with Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, and building REST-based services
Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, including message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar (required)
Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, or similar)
Experience developing and maintaining distributed systems and microservices
A solid focus on code quality and automated testing practices (unit and integration tests)
Comfortable using Git-based workflows and collaborating within cross-functional teams
