Role Overview
- Your primary focus is people and process — enabling engineers to do their best work while ensuring teams collaborate effectively and sustainably.
- You’ll lead and support a team of engineers in Oslo working in cross-functional product teams alongside Product Managers, Product Designers, and Tech Leads.
- Your role is to create the conditions for teams to thrive: coaching individuals, improving ways of working, and ensuring alignment across engineering and product.
- Partner with Product Managers and Tech Leads to align team capacity with roadmap priorities.
- Help maintain high retention and a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- Has experience leading or managing software engineers, ideally in product teams.
- Is passionate about people development, mentorship, and coaching.
- Has a strong understanding of modern software development practices.
- Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships across engineering, product, and design.
- Enjoys improving team processes and collaboration.
- Balances delivery, team well-being, and long-term technical health.
- Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
