Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Role Overview

• Troubleshoot and respond to user and server system incident reports
• Work independently and proactively resolve challenges within the IT infrastructure environment
• Independently handle tickets, install/configure systems, and monitor/ensure availability
• Create documentation and communicate with users
• Actively support project work and migrations
• Manage network devices, mobile devices, tablets, printers, workstations, as well as client-server infrastructure and MS Office standard applications.

Requirements

• Training as an IT specialist or equivalent qualification with at least 10 years of IT infrastructure experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft products (client/server), VMware, Dell and Cisco
• German and English required; French is an advantage
• Resilient, communicative and user-oriented personality
• Structured, organized, flexible and empathetic approach
• Enjoyment in mentoring and supporting apprentices/trainees.
