About this role
Role Overview
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, AP system management, liaising with external accounting firms
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments in line with payment terms and internal controls
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies and queries
- Support month-end and year-end close, including AP accruals and reconciliations
- Assist with tax and statutory requirements related to AP (e.g. VAT, withholding tax where applicable)
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within financial operations
- Ad hoc, such as support billing and customer queries, as well as audits by preparing documentation and reports
Requirements
- A detail‑oriented finance professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Scandinavian language skills considered a plus
- Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
