Staff Accountant

Role Overview

• Review and process Expensify reports
• Documentation and reconciliation of bank statements, credit card statements, cash expenditures
• Financial reporting support for monthly review, and general ledger / trial balance
• Request, receive, and store W-9s
• 1099 reporting
• Process accounts payable on a weekly basis using Bill.com
• Prepare intercompany invoicing process and process reimbursements
• Handles special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0 – 2 years of work experience or professional internships in relevant accounting roles
• Diverse work experience in a service focused role is a plus!
• Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
• You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
• You have a track record of being a project leader and have strong organizational skills
• You see the value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details make the difference
• You have working experience with Excel and Word
• You are comfortable with learning new software systems and tend to be someone that likes to be proficient in any system them use
• You have always had a passion for numbers and want to build your accounting career
