About this role
Role Overview
- Play a key role in the reliability, resilience, and overall quality of our backend platform
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for our backend services
- Lead integration, end-to-end, and regression testing strategies
- Set up and manage containerized test environments (Docker / Podman)
- Test release pipelines and deployment workflows (rollback, failure scenarios…)
- Validate data integrity using SQL queries (migrations, inter-service data flows…)
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to secure builds and releases
- Define testing strategies focused on system reliability and resilience
- Collaborate with Backend and DevOps teams to improve testability, observability, and overall robustness
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in backend QA / SDET / integration testing
- Strong experience in test automation (Go or equivalent backend language)
- Significant experience with distributed systems
- Solid proficiency in integration and end-to-end testing
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker or Podman)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and deployment tools (Helm)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis
- Strong debugging skills and backend understanding
