About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee the full commercial lifecycle across multiple M&E installation projects covering fire alarm, intruder and detection systems
- Reviewing and managing NEC3 contracts, identifying risks and opportunities
- Monitoring early warning notices, variations and change control
- Managing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
- Working closely with Project Managers to track progress and cash position
- Identifying and chasing revenue to maintain strong cash flow
- Managing commercial relationships with M&E subcontractors and partners
- Supporting negotiations and resolving commercial challenges
- Liaising with the in-house legal team on contractual matters when required
Requirements
- Strong Quantity Surveying / Commercial background within M&E, Fire & Security or construction installations
- Proven NEC3 contract knowledge and application
- Experience managing valuations, CVRs, variations and final accounts
- Comfortable operating in a standalone commercial role
- Strong financial awareness and commercial judgement
- Confident communicator able to work with PMs, subcontractors and senior stakeholders
