Junior Financial Controller

Role Overview

• Take day-to-day responsibility for general ledger accounting across four standalone entities
• Ensure correct revenue and cost recognition in line with Finnish accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable, including purchase invoice processing and expense management
• Handle accounts receivable and support timely and accurate revenue collection
• Act as a finance contact for internal stakeholders
• Contribute broadly to monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting routines and audits
• Participate in finance process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Around 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial controlling, or auditing
• A “let’s make it happen” mindset
• Solid understanding of Finnish accounting principles
• A background in accounting or financial studies is a clear advantage
• Basic understanding of IFRS is appreciated
• Hands-on and detail-oriented
• Good technical skills and comfort working with financial systems
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• A growth mindset
• Fluent in Finnish and English
