Drive the monthly close process for the Finnish Siili entities, delivering timely and accurate standalone financial reporting together with the internal finance team and outsourced accounting provider
Contribute to the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and support external audits, ensuring high-quality and compliant financial disclosures
Support monthly consolidation work and reporting, in close cooperation with group finance teams across entities
Handle IFRS questions and more complex accounting cases – including revenue recognition and the implementation of IFRS 18
Support in tax and transfer pricing matters in collaboration with group finance teams and external advisors, ensuring compliant and well-governed practices across the group
Develop the control environment and drive process automation, including the use of AI in finance workflows
Share the Group Controller’s workload and act as backup, ensuring continuity in group-level finance operations
Prepare ad hoc analyses for the CFO and senior leadership, turning numbers into insights that support decision-making
Manage liquidity and cash forecasting, maintaining visibility over the group’s financial position
Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience in financial controlling, group finance, or auditing – ideally with exposure to a listed or multi-entity environment
A “let’s make it happen” mindset. You take initiative, roll up your sleeves, and get things done.
Applicable education, e.g. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
Strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on experience with consolidated financial reporting
Understanding of group accounting, inter-company processes, and consolidation mechanics
Genuine interest in process development and automation – you see inefficiency as an opportunity, not a given
Good technical skills and comfort with financial systems. Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Fluent in Finnish and English.
