Role Overview
- Create test plans for 3stepIT together with the Test Manager
- Organize Test Cases repository – keep test cases up to date
- Improve and analyze of automation testing process
- Test analysis and critical thinking regarding the (functional/non-functional) requirements from testing point of view
- Identify new and implement existing test frameworks to improve testing process
- Code review of other testers’ code
- Develop and automate tests for software validation (UI & API level)
- Writing and manual testing of the test cases
- Reporting QA status / building test reports together with the Test Lead
- Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
- Working close with Scrum teams, participating sprint ceremonies (demo to BUs, planning sessions, reviews and retros) – (depending if employee is part of the Scrum team)
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.

Requirements
- Tertiary education (University / Polytechnic) Information Technology / Software Engineering or similar
- 5 years+ of work experience as a Test Engineer
- Strong communication skills and team player -attitude
- Deep level of understanding of QA/testing area
- Ability to build test automation stack from the beginning
- Understand the uses and methods of testing (functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing)
- Experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with test automation (Jenkins, robot framework, Selenium, Xray, or similar tools)
- Good knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, automate test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
- Knowledge in SQL/database
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
