Lead the strategic account management and planning process for major carrier clients, ensuring alignment with their capital management, underwriting, and growth priorities
Serve as senior relationship owner for designated global and regional carriers, maintaining active engagement with C-suite stakeholders
Anticipate emerging client needs and market developments to deliver forward-looking, innovative reinsurance solutions
Ensure a consistently high level of client service, delivery, and strategic engagement across all senior touchpoints
Close collaboration with other parts of the Price Forbes business, as well as with leaders of our parent company, The Ardonagh Group, so that carrier relationship strategy is aligned
Identify and capture growth opportunities across existing and prospective carrier relationships
Collaborate closely with treaty and facultative placement teams, analytics, and capital advisory functions to assist with the delivery of reinsurance and alternative capital programmes
Represent the firm at London Market and global industry events, building visibility and thought leadership within the reinsurance community
Strengthen relationships with reinsurers and alternative capital providers to optimise outcomes for clients and Price Forbes Re
Lead and collaborate across our teams of senior brokers, account directors, and senior analysts supporting key carrier relationships
Drive collaboration between broking, analytics, actuarial, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions
Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and client-centricity across the reinsurance division
Contribute to Price Forbes Re’s broader leadership agenda, shaping long-term strategy and market positioning
Translate market, regulatory, and macroeconomic trends into actionable insights for clients; helping them keep up to speed and presenting new commercial opportunities to them
Utilise data-driven analytics to inform programme design, pricing, and capital optimisation discussions
Champion digital, analytical, and operational innovations to enhance client experience and efficiency
Requirements
Minimum 15 years’ experience in reinsurance broking, underwriting, or carrier leadership, with a proven track record of managing large and complex client portfolios
Deep technical understanding of treaty and facultative structures, capital markets solutions, and risk transfer mechanisms
Demonstrated ability to influence and advise carrier C-suite executives on strategic and financial matters
Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with a focus on profitable growth and long-term client value
Outstanding communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualification such as ACII, CPCU, or MBA preferred
