Work as part of our backend team and take responsibility for a variety of challenging backend development tasks
Design and implement robust, scalable services
Ensure high uptime and meet scalability requirements
Write and maintain tests to improve software quality
Automate recurring tasks and help simplify operations
Design and communicate new API features

7+ years of experience designing and developing backend applications
Proficient in at least two programming languages
Extensive development experience in Python; experience with Java or C/C++ is a plus
Strong adherence to coding principles and best practices
Deep knowledge of web and backend technologies, especially asynchronous programming and caching
Extensive knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL
Experience with Docker; familiarity with container orchestration systems is a plus
Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment
