Work closely with their CTO and engineering team to design and evolve the core backend and platform architecture powering their applications
Lead complex technical initiatives across backend systems, infrastructure, and developer tooling
Define and implement scalable foundations that enable the team to ship faster while maintaining reliability as the platform grows
Designing and evolving the backend architecture that powers their products and internal platform
Building scalable and reliable backend services
Improving infrastructure, observability, reliability, and deployment workflows across the engineering stack
Working directly with cloud services such as AWS, Supabase, Cloudflare, or similar technologies
Creating internal tools, platform capabilities, and shared components that enable engineers to build faster and more safely
Leading architectural decisions and helping the engineering team scale technically and operationally

7+ years of experience building and operating large-scale backend systems
Strong expertise in backend development with languages such as Kotlin, Java, Go, Python, or similar
Proven experience building and operating scalable backend systems in production environments
Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance optimization
Experience integrating AI models or AI-powered workflows into real product systems is a strong plus
Strong experience designing scalable architectures and making high-impact technical decisions
Ability to design systems that remain reliable, observable, and maintainable as the company scales
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and production environments
Experience improving system reliability, performance, and operational visibility
You can communicate in English, which is the team’s primary working language.
